In early June 2019, I visited Lochapoka, Alabama for my friend Bill’s bachelor party. Flying in and out of Atlanta made the most sense, and since I hadn’t been to Atlanta in more than 10 years (aside from airport layovers and missed connections), I took some time to do some exploring! The Georgia Aquarium has been high on my list for years (whale sharks, people; need I say more?), so I sent some emails, arranged a visit, and booked a flight that gave me enough time to explore the most incredible aquarium I have ever seen. Needless to say it did not disappoint. Factor in The World of Coca-Cola across the park and even a 55-minute Uber to the airport couldn’t spoil my mood.
